3'x3' Fire Pit this is an economical feature for outdoor entertaining

Plants do not need to be boring, add some shape and you have beauty and intrest.

These lions weigh about 500 lbs. each 
The sunset colored pavers are a traditional clay paver they are set in a herringbone pattern. 
Larger flat pieces of river rock make great stepping stones in the dry creek bed.

A small fountain water feature like this one can add ambiance to an intimate patio setting. 
Those are broad-leaf evergreen shrubs, trained to a lattice they make a great privacy screen. 
Yes that is a dragon, and no it is not painted on, the pattern was drawn over the lighter colored brick and then removed cut and replaced with charcoal colored brick. 
The inside of this fire pit has a refractory material that is specifically made for withstanding high temperature fires

I didn't even know about this competition until Monday afternoon and had to have it designed and installed by Friday at 3:00pm I would say that we absolutely stepped up to the challenge. 
When I look at this design, I think of the 3 demo saws that it took to put it together... One of them R.I.P.
